All you need to invest in is a mirror and a few bits and bobs – then you can get to work, creating your own mirror artwork. To create this mirror all you need to do is measure the circumference of your mirror, divide the circle into even sections (should be around 16). Measure a 16-inch verticle line, then at the second section a 12-inch line. Alternate between 12-inch and 16-inch distances between mirror and nail.

You’ll want to hammer a nail into the farthest points before wrapping the twine around the nails. Creating a star shape. Finally, hang your mirror with hanging strips in the middle of your star shape.

Why not create a handy dandy cup holder out of an old pallet. Simply sand it down, apply varnish if you feel it’s required, add some hooks and if you want to get fancy – use a stencil and paint the word “Coffee”, “Tea” or some positive words like “Happiness” on to your mug rack. Plastic/ Fabric or Paper Wall Flowers

Ever heard of a person being extra shy and being described as a wallflower? Well, you can create your very own wallflower display by affixing origami or plastic flowers to ribbon or rope.

You can either stick the flowers to a ribbon or thread them through, like in the picture. If you decide to thread the flowers through (Advised) it will give a lovely finish if you use fabric flowers.

This finish is almost like a daisy chain. But don’t use real daisies – they’ll wilt in a day and your work will be ruined. Fabric flowers are the best and most durable solution.

What You’ll Need

  • Thick thread
  • Needle
  • 50 flowers
  • Shop Fabric Flowers
